On Christmas Day my husband and I went to see "Up in the air" excellent movie, had some good lines. On the 26th we went to see 'Sherlock Holmes", this one I did not enjoy, I found it to be far too messy!!

Last night Dipu and I joined one of his workmates Manisha for a drink at the Elephant Bar in Fremont. It was a very pleasant evening.
Am now getting ready for my work down in LA for the Rose Parade. My first time there.

On Thursday I went to Fringale restaurant a French/Basque cuisine with my friend Afaf. We had a wonderful lunch and would recommend the restaurant to all of my friends.

invictus

Went to see Invictus yesterday. Would recommend this film to anyone who is interested in history. Morgan Freman's portrayal as Nelson Mendela is brilliant. I had no idea that Mr Mandela used Rugby as a way to get the people of South Africa as one.
I bumped into Mr Mandela at Johannesburg airport one time and I wished that I had had the nerve to ask if I could shake his hand!

cold weather

brrr, it is really cold here in the Bay Area, I guess we are just not used to it and are babies when the temps drop to zero!! Hope it warms up soon. Hopefully when I go down to LA for the New Year it will be much warmer - am keeping my fingers crossed.

M husband flew off today to Los Angeles to begin his new job, I do hope all goes well for him. He will be there until Friday

My husband and I went to SF yesterday and we painted the town red! I bought a beaautiful cocktail dress and a business suit and I also bought my husband a suit.

The weather was wonderful, warm and sunny.

relief

My husband who lost his job about a month ago has "Thank G-D " been offered a position - what a relief!
I am looking forward to starting my work again when I go down to LA for the Rose Parade at the end of the year.
Next year I am blessed with quite a bit of work both within the U.S and overseas.
